Fill out the application question section (through Microsoft Word or Google Docs) and submit only your unofficial transcript and the completed portion in .pdf form as an attachment in your email. Please do not include your name in the file title. You may attach any other pertinent information that you would like to include in the appropriate file format.

When submitting the application, please include the following information in your email along with the pdf of the completed questions. Applications missing this information may not be considered.

  • No. Due to the highly competitive nature of this program, we are unable to accept all applicants. However, there is no limit to how many applicants we accept!

  • No! This program is designed to give applicants experience with not only CAUCI Board duties, but also overarching professional skills.

  • Being an intern is a commitment! What you get out of the program is what you put in!

  • Everyone! We encourage everyone to apply regardless of your major or year at UCI. * Excluding the President. The President may be shadowed once every board member is shadowed.

** Executive positions are only open to applicants with at least 1 term of intern experience or 1+ terms of board experience.

A Typical Week As an Intern

Sunday:

Board Meeting (30 min-1 hr)

Intern Meeting* (30 min)

Tuesday:

CACN Involvement (1 hr)

Wednesday:

HSO Meeting (1 hr)

Thursday:

General Meeting (~2.5 hr)

Saturday:

CACN, CHF, Fam Olympics** (All Day)

Interns are expected to commit around 6 in-person hrs per week 

  • Should also help with event planning outside of these times

  • * Intern Meetings will be Bi-Weekly

  • ** Saturday Events are occasional and not every week
